Many people equate the Nobel Prize with Peace. In reality, Nobel Prizes have been awarded for achievements in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and peace since 1901. In honor of Georg von Békésy, who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1961 for his discoveries of how sound is analyzed and communicated in the cochlea in the inner ear, the Nobel organization has created a highly engaging online game called the Ear Pages. The Ear Pages consists of readings, animations and quizes, and gives you a chance to learn about how the ear works. It even allows you to accumulate scores and compete online with other gamers.
