Shohet Ear Associates has been designated as a Premier Elite Provider for the new Lyric hearing devices. The designation means that Shohet Ear Associates will be among the very first practices to be able to offer the new Lyric sizes to patients.

We’re very pleased to announce that Shohet Ear Associates has been designated as a Premier Elite Provider for the new Lyric hearing devices. The designation means that Shohet Ear Associates will be among the very first practices to be able to offer the new Lyric sizes to patients.
Lyric is an extended wear hearing device that can be worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for months at a time. Because it sits completely in the ear canal, it is 100% invisible and cannot be seen when worn. Lyric uses the outer ear to naturally direct sound into the ear canal and delivers exceptional sound quality in both quiet and noisy environments. Previously, only 42 percent of patients could be fit with the device due to the size or shape of the ear canal. The new Lyric devices come in a range of sizes, from extra small to extra large. With the new sizing, three out of four people will be able to wear a Lyric, depending on their type of hearing loss.
Shohet Ear Associates was the first practice in Orange County and the second in Southern California to offer Lyric to patients.
